M4A1 (75) W (China) -> insane Turretarmor for BR Tiger I (H) -> especially because u cant get matched against BR 6.7Ĭenturion Mk.III -> has a very strong/trolly turret for a BR 6.7 MediumĬaernarvon -> same strong/trolly turret + strong Hull Panther (D )-> especially because u cant get matched against BR 6.7 Jagdpanzer IV/70 (V) -> especially because u cant get matched against BR 6.7 IS-1 / IS-2 / ISU-152 / ISU-122 / ISU-122S -> with Sidescraping (good reversegear) KV-1E / KV-1 Zis5 - i wouldnt bother playing something else (KV wise) VII at 4.7Ĭenturion Mk-3, Caernarvon, and Tortoise at 6.7 Instead of memorizing key map points and going to them everysingle time.Ĭhurchills generally, but specifically the Mk. Hell, I even wish the maps were randomly generated everytime a battle starts, so it's always new and exciting. I'd get really bored of constantly playing with the same stuff all the time. Just grabbing some PZIV lineup and play 10000 batles with them over and over sounds really boring to me. Getting something new and then Acing it and getting the camos is what I find most enjoyable, and then getting something new and fresh. I enjoy getting new vehicles and playing with them, the whole sense of progression up a nation's vehicle evolution is very fascinating and exciting for me. I get what you're saying but, what's the point then? You keep telling yourself I simply need the next tank I am getting up tiered to much. Modern tanks are fun to look at but that's about it. Its just faster tanks with better optics and armor that feels less useful. Plenty of variety. The race to top tier is disappointing. Not sure the juice is worth the squeeze anymore. Low level UK with their high pen solid shot get s a lot of assists and are a force to be reckoned with.īut the biggest advice play what you find fun - its all a bit speady and hectic and low BR but you eventually hit some slower heavier vehicles - play them and decide you path.Definitely a steep learning curve. USSR when you hit the t34s is a lot of fun Germany has a game changing tank at 3.3 with the pz4F2 - build a line up around that Germany up to tier BR 1.7 have a group of fun vehicles Pz2C&F Pz3c etc and a couple of nice air support options. Try to get a balanced line-up regardless of nation - ie dont plop in a new tank to your lineup just cos you unlocked it it may drag your other vehicles into a BAAAAD place I may not look new but I am a returning player - played some arcade years ago, but only got back to warthunder over the last couple of months playing realistic battles. Hello.right now the only viable nations for tank battles in high ranks(br 10+) are germany(leopards),usa(m1a1HC and m1a2) and russia(T series) so I wouldn't really consider other nations if i were you,not that other nations are bad, they just dont fit well in the current meta.among the 3 mentioned ones russian tech tree requires a somewhat unique play style because of how their tanks are designed(long reload time for 122mm gun in lower ranks, low gun depession in all ranks and usually slow reverse speed specially in high ranks),thus I recommend you to either go with germany or usa because their playstyle is more stable and better suited for newcomers.also you might want to consider the nations air tree if you are going to play tank Realistic battle(the main mode you will be playing after you get used to the game),because you are gonna see a lot of attacker planes in tank RB and you might someday want to have your own CAS,in that regard usa is better than germany(lower rank germans planes are very good but at higher ranks specially rank 7 they are trash rightnow).good luck!
